Video game store robbed at gunpoint

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a local video game store Thursday night.

Officers were called to the Game Stop in the 7400 block of North Academy around 8:30 in the evening.

They said a suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as a black, about 6' tall with a heavy build. He is in his 30's and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
