COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have released photos of a man who used a machete to rob a pizza store Jan. 30in the city.

According to officers, a man came into the Papa Murphy's in the 3100 block of West Colorado Avenue around 1:17 p.m. and demanded money from the cashier. The man allegedly threatened the victim with a machete.

Witnesses described him as a 35-42-year-old man who is about 6'2" with a medium build. He wore a red, white and blue patterned knit hat, grey, white and black patterned jackets, blue jeans and black boots during the robbery. He was also carrying a yellow and black bag.

Officers found is jacket, duffle bag and machete in an alley south of the store later.
