COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A short police chase ended with a car flying off the road and into a creek early Thursday morning.

Colorado Springs Police officers said an officer saw a car speeding down I-25 and tried to pull it over around midnight Thursday.

The car sped away, and as the officer tried to catch up the driver tried to exit onto Nevada Avenue, couldn't handle the turn and went airborne.

The car ended up in a creek.

Officials said there were four people in the car at the time of the crash.
