COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- What seemed like any other customer waiting in line turned out to be much more frightening for workers at a local department store.
Colorado Springs Police officers said Sunday night a man walked into a Kohl's store in the 2700 block of Janitell Road.
The suspect had reportedly picked out a shirt and walked up to the register to pay for the item, when he suddenly pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash.
Officers said the suspect is described as an African American man in his 30's.
He stands about 5'8'' tall with a medium build and light colored "blotches" of skin on his face.
He was last seen wearing dark colored pants and a black hoodie with two yellow stripes down the sleeve.
No on was hurt in the incident.
The suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.
