COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating after a man staggered into a 7-Eleven convenience store just before 5 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of South Nevada Avenue with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers said the 21-year-old victim is in stable condition but is not cooperating with officers.
At this time officers are unsure where the actual shooting took place but said the victim's car was found at a motel across the street from the convenience store.
Officers said they are currently searching for a care that could be connected to the shooting.
It's described as an older sedan with a taped-up front passenger side window.
So far, they have no suspect description, and no one is in custody.
