COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs motorcycle officer and two El Paso County Sheriff's deputies were involved in a crash in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon.
Officials with the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the crash in the 1300 block of Aviation Way shortly after 2 p.m.
Two motorcycle deputies and one motorcycle police officer were a joint escort training exercise when one clipped another, who then hit the third. All three were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
With 2012 being a political year, officers said more similar training exercises will be conducted.
