COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- It was a frightening morning for a hotel clerk who was locked in a closet during a robbery.
Colorado Springs Police officers were called to the Courtyard by Marriot hotel in the 2500 block of Tenderfoot Hill Street just after 2 a.m. Monday.
Officers said a man locked the hotel attendant in a closet and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
K-9's were sent to the scene, but they were unable to find the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white or hispanic man in his 40's standing about 5'10'' tall and weighing 185 pounds.
He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a dark jacket and a dark-colored beanie hat.
He is also described as having a "pock marked" face.
