COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The mother of the two children involved in Tuesday's deadly car crash works for the Cimarron Hills Fire Department as an administrative assistant.
The department has created a memorial fund for Lupita Morales. Lupita's daughter, 16-year-old Bethany, died in the crash. Her youngest daughter, 6-year-old Grace, was also in the car at the time.
She's reportedly in stable condition in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
The memorial fund has been set up at 1st Bank in Colorado Springs for the family's ongoing medical and memorial service expenses.
Any donations can be made in the names of the 'Morales Memorial Fund.'
There will also a candlelight vigil held at Doherty High School for Bethany on Thursday.
The fire department asks for those to come show their love and support for the family at 6:30 pm by the flag pole on the west side of the building.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
There will also be a fundraiser held at Frankies Bar & Grille and Frankie's Too sometime in January.
