COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two bank robberies in the span of three hours are unrelated, Springs Police said.
The first robbery happened at the Key Bank in the 3800 block of South Academy Boulevard.
Police say the man was armed and ran from the scene, crossing the street to the South Point Apartments.
Officers say he's either a white male with a dark complexion or a black male with a light complexion. He's described as in his 20s, 6'1 and 190 pounds.
The second robbery happened at an ENT Credit Union in the 100 block of South Weber Street around noon.
Police say that suspect is a white male in his 40s, between 5'7 and 5'8 and 130 pounds.
Officials don't believe the two robberies are related because the suspects' descriptions are so different.
