COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Christmas comes once a year, and while you might look forward to trimming the tree, if you're running out of time a new business is here to help.

Decorating your home for Christmas can sometimes feel like an uphill battle when life keeps getting in the way.

"You have a laundry list of things that school wants you to do, what the kids are involved in, and it just goes on and on and on," Teresa Harrison, of Decoration Creation, said.

So Harrison and her partner Kristi Markowitz have turned holiday help into a full-time gig as interior decorators.

This dynamic duo does everything from decorating the tree to putting up all your holiday knick knacks, even that pesky garland that doesn't quite fit.

"I'm a full-time mom in school, graduate school full-time, cooking dinner every night, getting ready for study with the kids and myself. I felt so bad because we hadn't decorated for Christmas or even Halloween," Lori Muench, a Decoration Creation customer, said.

So Muench hired Decoration Creation to help her get in the holiday spirit.

The owners are not professional designers, so they build memories on a budget.

The three hours they'll spend decorating Muench's home will cost $150.

"So to get my wife's stress down and to make her life easier she asked to have somebody do the decoration I said absolutely," Michael Muench, Decoration Creation customer, said.

While keeping your sanity during the holidays is a good enough reason, some people see these decorators as a luxury.

"Is it worth spending all day Saturday dragging out boxes and putting it up or paying somebody $100-$150 to do it?" Harrison asked.
