COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Friday afternoon Fort Carson will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening the doors to the 43rd Sustainment Brigade's new headquarters.
The Mountain Post's new headquarters building employs new energy saving systems and technologies including more energy efficient doors and windows, low power consumption and even solar power collectors.
The new building means that all key headquarters elements are now under one roof making operations much more efficient.
Following the 1 p.m. ceremony, the brigade will host an open house until 3 p.m.
