COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs fire crews responded to a house fire on Splendid Circle North near Oro Blanco Drive and Barnes Road early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived on scene at around 4:45 in the morning and reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the roof of the home.
Officials on scene said that the fire may have started on the back deck of the structure before flames extended into the home's kitchen and attic.
Authorities said no one was home at the time of the blaze, and there are no reports of injuries.
