EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- Three people have been arrested after a stabbing Friday night around 9 p.m. on Maxwell Street in the Stratmoor area of Colorado Springs.
A 57-year-old man was taken to a local hospital. He underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said they conducted several interviews after the incident. Members of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Swat Team were also called-in for assistance.
Early Saturday morning after executing a search warrant at one of the suspect's homes, the three were taken into custody. They include 28-year-old Kevin Jenkins, 31-year-old Brelyson Kerley and a 17-year-old boy.
Jenkins and Kerley have been charged with accessory to criminal attempted murder. They're being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on $10,000 bond.
The 17-year-old has been charged with criminal attempt first degree murder and first degree assault. He's being held at the Spring Creek Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
