COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a man who allegedly stole from a medical marijuana store Monday morning.

Around 10:23 a.m. Monday, 19-year-old James Cody walked into the Indispensary in the 3000 block of West Colorado Avenue, assaulted the clerk with a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

Officers released surveillance photos of the man Tuesday. They knocked on doors late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning until someone recognized him as a guest at a nearby motel.
