Man arrested after two hostages stabbed

LAKEWOOD, COLO. (AP) -- Two women are recovering from stab wounds after police stormed an apartment where a man held them hostage overnight.

Lakewood police Detective Ryan McKone says police forced their way into the apartment after the man became violent.

McCone tells KMGH-TV the stab wounds are not life-threatening.
