COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs woman charged with embezzlement is scheduled to make her first appearance in an El Paso County courtroom Tuesday morning.

Christina Bratcher is accused of embezzling more than $460,000 from Colorado Welding Supply.

Colorado Springs Police said they started investigation the 43-year-old Bratcher, who was a book keeper for the company, after the business started to receive notes of "unpaid debts."

The company said they had to file for bankruptcy as a result of the embezzlement.
