Water main break in Springs neighborhood

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A water main break around 2:30 Tuesday morning is causing some headaches for a Colorado Springs neighborhood.

Colorado Springs Utilities has said that they are working on repairing the break in the 3000 block of Edith Lane near Circle Drive and East San Miguel Street.

Water had been gushing onto Circle from the leak, but the flow has been "clamped off."

CSU is urging drivers to avoid the area since they will  be working throughout the morning to repair the break.
