Two accused in shooting to appear in court

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A couple arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a home off of Ellicott Highway will make their first court appearances Monday.

Mark Manyik and Traci Adams are accused of possibly luring 55-year-old Robert Miles to their home with the intent to kill him.

Deputies were originally told that Miles had broken into the home.

Investigators say that Adams was Miles' ex-girlfriend.

The El Paso County Sheriff's office said that Miles was shot once with a shot-gun in the abdomen.

Manyik and Adams were both arrested on multiple charges in the case, including first degree murder.
