COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said a girl was sexually assaulted behind a building on her way to school Tuesday morning.
According to officers, a man lured the girl behind a building in the 400 block of East Brookside Street in the city and sexually assaulted her around 8:37 a.m..
The man was wearing a brown baseball cap, baggy blue jeans and a green jacket.
Officers said the girl was walking to a nearby school bus stop.
They have not released any other information but said the investigation is ongoing. They are asking anyone with information to contact them at (719) 444-7000 or call Crime Stoppers.
