COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers were sent to a rollover crash early Friday morning, only to find that no one was there.
Officers were sent to the 2100 block of Hancock Expressway just before 2:30 a.m. Friday for the crash.
Authorities said the car was traveling southbound on Union Boulevard, left the road and ended up in a nearby field.
After a search of the area off
icers were unable to locate any victims.
Officers later found the driver of the car and one passenger at a home.
Medical personnel were sent to the house to tend to the victims, and another victim was also located at a local hospital, but injuries from the crash did not appear to be life threatening.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash, but officers said the driver has been charged with duty to report, careless driving and other traffic charges.
