COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A hit and run crash led to a power outage late Monday night.

Police received a call just after 10:30 Monday night reporting a loud crashing noise in the 1400 block of Manitou Boulevard, followed by a sudden power outage.

When officers arrived on scene they found a car had crashed into a utility pole, then sheared off and damaged two other poles before it fled the area.

Colorado Springs Utilities estimated the repairs to the poles would take at least six hours.
