COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The third annual Cat Country Cares for Kids Concert was held Monday at Cowboys Nightclub in Colorado Springs. Big names like Phil Vassar, Steve Holy, and Craig Morgan all performed for a good cause.

Cat Country 95.1 in Colorado Springs held the concert to raise money for the Rocky Mountain Childhood Cancer Foundation, which aids families dealing with pediatric cancer. All of the proceeds go to the foundation, which all stay southern Colorado.

Fred Price is the father of Jessica. Jessica has a rare form of breast cancer, and knows first-hand how beneficial it is to receive assistance from the Rocky Mountain Childhood Foundation.

Jim Murphy, Program Director at Cumulus Broadcasting, said this is the fastest sellout of any Cat Country Cares for Kids concert. He says this is a testament to the heart of southern Colorado, but also the willingness for great acts to help out a good cause.
