EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies and Colorado Springs Police officers teamed up to arrest three suspects in connection with two robberies from earlier this week.

On Tuesday evening, a man in a skeleton disguise walked into the Big R farm store in the 100 block of Fontaine Boulevard in Security, pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded cash. He fled with an unknown amount of money.

On Wednesday afternoon, two males entered the School District 3 Federal Credit Union in the 1100 block of Crawford Avenue in Security and robbed the bank in a similar fashion. Both suspects were wearing the same skeleton disguises as the man from the first robbery.

The credit union suspects fled in a gray Hyundai Santa Fe with Colorado license plates 448-AYR. That car had been reported stolen.

On Thursday deputies received a call from a witness who saw people near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Walnut Street in Colorado Springs get out of a car matching the one the suspects used to flea and get into another car - a gold Hyundai - and provided the plates of that car.

Within 15 minutes, officers and deputies found the new Hyundai at the corner of Tia Juana Street and Gunnison Street in the city.

Deputies, officers and FBI officials detained 20-year-old Stephen Williams, 18-year-old Marqual Sawyer, an 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy, all of whom were in the car when authorities found it.

After further investigation, deputies arrested Williams and the 16-year-old, and police officers arrested Sawyer.

Williams faces two counts of aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and aggravated motor vehicle theft. The boy also faces, aggravated robbery, conspiracy and motor vehicle theft charges. Sawyer is facing second degree burglary, providing false information to a pawn broker, criminal mischief and theft charges.

Williams' bond is $500,000, while Sawyer and the boy have bonds of $10,000 each. However, Sawyer is not eligible for release due to a probation hold with no bond.

The woman was released without charges.
