COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Drivers can finally rejoice!

The Woodmen Road project has come to an end in Colorado Springs.

Mayor Steve Bach, a Federal Highway Administrator, and the Colorado Department of Transportation Executive Director will all be in attendance Friday morning for a completion ceremony in honor of the project.

The ceremony is scheduled to be held in the Woodmen Commons Parking lot on the northeast corner of Woodmen and Academy Boulevard.

The project was the first in Colorado Springs to have received funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
