COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two people are hurt following a serious car crash on North Powers Boulevard near Old Ranch Road in Colorado Springs.

Officials said a pickup truck crashed into a pole around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Crews extricated two adult male passengers from the vehicle.

One passenger was airlifted from the scene in critical condition, the other was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Officials believe speed and alcohol are both factors in the crash.
