COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a registered sex offender suspected of giving a woman an earful and an eyeful.

The incident occurred in the 3000 block of West Colorado Avenue near 30th Street early Wednesday morning.

A woman called to tell police she was confronted by a man who made lewd comments toward her and then exposed himself.

The man then left the area on foot.

Officers responding to the call found a man matching the suspect's description only six blocks away, but when officers tried to approach, he fled.

The suspect led police on a brief chase, but he was eventually caught.
