COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a wanted man in the city Thursday afternoon after a short foot chase.

Officers got a tip that Carl Roquemore, a man wanted on outstanding burglary, larceny and parole violation warrants, was in the Motel 6 in the 3200 block of North Chestnut Street, just north of Fillmore Street.

When officers arrived, Roquemore took off running, but they set up a containment area and found him at Ellston and Sinton Road, where he gave up.
