Fallen soldier laid to rest at Fort Carson

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Flags will be flown at half staff Friday across the state in honor of a Fort Carson soldier who was killed in Iraq.

25-year-old Sgt. Mark Cofield of Colorado Springs died on July 17th after he sustained injuries from a non-combat related accident.

His funeral will be held Friday at the Mountain Post.
