COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The first-ever Diamond Dash is coming to Colorado Springs, and it could help out a very special couple.
Johannes Hunter Jewelers is sponsoring the event in which winners will win a $10,000 A. Jaffe diamond ring. There will be a consolation prize for the top five teams.
The contest will start in Acacia Park around 10 a.m. Saturday. Contestants will receive clues via text message and participate in a scavenger hunt race. The team with the most points and fastest time will win the prize.
The contest is open to any team of two.
