Man busted breaking into marijuana shop

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police arrested a man who broke into a medical marijuana dispensary late Thursday night.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm at the dispensary located in the 500 block of Cimarron Street, near the intersection of Wahsatch Avenue and Costilla Street.

When officers arrived the store was closed and the front door was broken, as they approached the door a male suspect exited the building.

He had a knife in one hand and a marijuana plant in the other.

The suspect, identified as Thomas O'Donnell, was taken into custody on second degree burglary.
