Police on the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident near 31st St. and Colorado Ave.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs man has died following a motorcycle crash Friday night.
It happened around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of 31st St. and W. Colorado Avenue.
Springs Police said a Toyota Camry was making a left hand turn onto northbound 31st from eastbound Colorado as the motorcycle was traveling west on Colorado.
They said at some point the two collided, and the driver of the motorcycle, 52-year-old Randal Staggs, was ejected from his bike.
Staggs was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The crash is under investigation, but police do not believe speed, alcohol, or drugs played a role.
