COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man who tried to rob another man early Tuesday morning.

According to the victim, 32-year-old Mark Morrow confronted him when he left the 7-Eleven in the 1900 block of East Fountain Boulevard in the city around 6:04 a.m.

Morrow held both hands in his coat pocket and told the victim he would shoot him if he didn't get in the car. The victim refused to cooperate, and Morrow ran away headed northeast.

Officers set up a perimeter around the area, and about 45 minutes later, an officer saw a man matching the victim's description of the suspect walking out from behind a building about a quarter mile away.

The victim identified Morrow as the suspect, and police charged him with aggravated robbery. In addition, Morrow was wanted on domestic violence charges in Colorado Springs, and he also had an assault warrant out of Texas.
