PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo police said a sexually violent predator has been released from the Colorado Department of Corrections and will be on intensive supervised parole for 18 months.
Emmanuel Bitsuie, a 25-year-old who has been in the DOC two other times, is currently listed as homeless in Pueblo.
Bitsuie was convicted of attempted first degree sexual assault when he sexually assaulted a woman in her car. He also has a prior felony menacing conviction.
He is an American Indian, 5'6" and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a cross on his left hand.
Bitsuie has no car and is currently unemployed. He is one of seven sexually violent predators living in Pueblo and one of 515 registered sex offenders in the city. There are about 14,363 registered sex offenders in Colorado.
Law enforcement has no legal authority to direct where a sex offender may live, but Bitsuie's parole officer will be tracking him via a GPS monitoring system.
