DENVER (AP) -- Denver police are warning drivers of the dangers of being distracted on the road.

During a two-day campaign this week, police say they found several cases of distracted drivers. They say one woman was driving 5 mph over the 45 mph limit on a road in south Denver while using both hands to put on makeup. Another person was speeding, eating breakfast and trying to set an iPod.

Police say officers wrote 15 citations for texting while driving or distracted driving over the two days.
