PUEBLO, COLO. -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies arrested a mother and her son for possession of drugs after finding drugs and weapons in their Pueblo home.

Denise Seilheimer and her son Travis were arrested Saturday evening. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, with the Pueblo Police Department's Narcotics Unit, searched the home in the 900 block of Frontier after obtaining a search warrant.

Officers with the Narcotics Unit found more than eight ounces of methamphetamines, more than eight different types of controlled prescription drugs, a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a .22 caliber rifle and more than $6,500 in cash during their search around 7:55 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies booked both in the county jail on charges of possession of a schedule II controlled substance of more than four grams and possession of the same substance with intent to distribute.
