Plane crash victims identified

CUSTER COUNTY, COLO. -- The two victims in a deadly plane crash in Southern Colorado over the weekend have been identified.

The Custer County Sheriff's Office said they are Dr. Michael Welton, 66, of Iowa and Roswitha Marold, 70, also of Iowa.

The two were killed when their plane crashed on Sunday afternoon over the Sangre De Cristo mountain range.

The Civil Air Patrol said they were flying from Phoenix to Pueblo.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
