Homeless sex offenders move to Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two more registered sex offenders have moved to Colorado Springs, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Both 35-year-old Daniel Lawrence Murphy and 26-year-old Rashaun Demetrius Faulcon are registered as homeless but are living in the city. Murphy is living in the area of Academy Boulevard and Maizeland Road, while Faulcon is living in the area of Bijou Street and Union Boulevard.

Murphy is a 5'5" 185 pound white man with brown hair and brown eyes. Faulcon is a 6'1" 175 pound black man with black hair and brown eyes.

Murphy was convictedof first degree sexual abuse in New York, and Faulcon was convicted of attempted sexual assault for overcoming the victim's will.

Both men are required to register as sex offenders in Colorado Springs. Police will notify nearby neighbors in both locations.

Murphy and Faulcon are the third and fourth registered sex offenders to move to Colorado Springs in the past three weeks. Robert Lee Myers and Kirby Douglas Johnson moved to the city in October.
