Police not calling it a homicide yet
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are investigating a suspicious death at the Rockrimmon Condominiums in the 6500 block of Delmonico Drive.
Police said a neighbor of apartment 101 voiced a noise complaint around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Police were called but could not enter the apartment. Management received a second complaint Friday morning after telling police they would deal with the complaint. When they entered the apartment, they found a male body with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police are not calling the death a homicide yet but are continuing the investigation. If it is ruled a homicide, it will be the 18th in Colorado Springs this year.
Police have taped off a nearby car but will not say if it is connected to the suspicious death.
