COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police will begin issuing warnings Thursday for drivers who run red lights at the four designated red light camera intersections in town.

Red light cameras are currently installed in four intersections around town. They are:

- Northbound Nevada Avenue at Bijou Street
- Eastbound Barnes Road at Oro Blanco Drive
- Westbound Platte Avenue at Circle Drive
- Westbound Platte Avenue at Murray Boulevard

Drivers who run these red lights will get a warning in the mail 2-3 weeks after the violation. The past two weeks was a testing period for the Photo Enforcement System.

Officers will review every case to determine if they should issue a penalty.

When police begin issuing tickets in October, the fine will be $75.
