Rebecca Magallanes dismembered torso was found in November of last year in the woods outside of Wetmore, Colorado.
Law enforcement officials say they have now arrested 58 year old John Paul Williams. He faces a charge of first degree murder in her killing.
An arrest affidavit obtained by Fox 21 says that Williams and Magallenes were in a long term relationship and were living together.
Williams allegedly shot Magallanes, then cut off her arms, legs and head with a saw they later found in a storage unit he was renting.
