* Vice presidential nominee Joe Biden will be in Colorado today in Greeley and Commerce City. Tomorrow he will speak in Colorado Springs at Sierra High School at 10 a.m., and later head to Pueblo. * An open house will be held today concerning public health safety. It is aimed at providing information on ballot measure 1A, a Safer Community Initiative. * Fort Carson's 4th Brigade Combat Team will today being a "warrior strike." It's a two-part field exercise to prepare the troops for their deployment to Afghanistan next srping. Soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, 61st Cavlary Regiment will conduct training exercises at Pinon Canyon on its maneuver site.
