El Paso County Sheriff's officials say it is a woman in her late teens or early 20s
EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's investigators have found the body of a woman in her late teens or early 20s.
They said it is located several miles up Old Stage Road in the Cheyenne Mountain area.
The coroner is on scene and will positively identify the body, which he believes may be that of 19-year-old Judilianna Lawrence. She has not been seen since Friday morning.
Officials from El Paso County Sheriff's Office said "Judi" was last seen with a male friend, riding in his yellow 2000 Jeep Utility sometime Friday.
Authorities have taken Robert Marko, 21, a Fort Carson soldier, into custody as a suspect. Officials from the sheriff's office said he has been charged with sexual assault and first degree murder.
They are now investigating the case as a homicide.
