WASHINGTON -- President Obama will have a private lunch with Mitt Romney at the White House Thursday, according to Fox News.
No details have been released about the lunch other than it will be closed to the media.
Oval Office officials confirmed the meeting Wednesday. It will be the first time the two have met in person since Obama was re-elected more than three weeks ago.
Officials did not say why the two are meeting. Obama is in the midst of "fiscal cliff" negotiations with Congress, while Romney has been relatively quiet since his defeat.
