COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- An elaborate burglary is caught on camera but the thieves remain on the run.

The break-in happened early Monday morning and involved three businesses with a gambling parlor as the main target.

It started when the phone lines were cut. Then the suspects broke in through a back door of the Montage Salon.

What happened next is something straight out of the movies.

"They basically took sledgehammers and bars and beat through the sheet rock and knocked down boards and framing in order to get through the walls," Donny Talton, General Manager and Owner of Post Time, said.

Along the way they grabbed some money and electronics but their main target was inside Post Time.

"We're missing two safes. One that had electronic equipment and some video recording equipment, and the other safe had approximately $30,000 cash," Talton said.

Surveillance video shows the suspects taking their time removing the safes and carrying them out the back. Talton said they had a scanner to listen for police and someone on the lookout.

After grabbing the safes the suspects cut a hole in a fence and took their loot into a nearby apartment complex.

Post Time is working on gathering money for a "generous reward" for anyone who can help catch the suspects.

"Tracks outside of these state lines are putting money forward. We don't know the total amount of the dollars yet but we know that there are more dollars being put in to just stop this kind of stuff," Talton said.

The money that was lost from Post Time effects tracks all over the state.

Authorities believe at least one of the suspects had inside knowledge and that the crime had been planned over time.
