Lost your Android phone? Here's how to locate it

Just like every human being in the world, we've all misplaced our mobile phones at one point or another.

And like most people, we panic. Misplacing your mobile phone can be very stressful and can also be a hassle.

However, with Google's help, you can avoid all that stress and find your phone in no time.

On Wednesday, Google unveiled a new feature that allows you to search for your lost Android phone.

The process is simple.

All you have to do is log into your Google account on a computer and type "Find my phone" into the search bar.

Once you've done that, Google will display a map that pulls up your mobile phone's location.

To pinpoint your device, click the icon or link for "Ring" on the map. After you've clicked the "Ring," your device will ring for up to five minutes.

The new feature will also give you the option to lock your phone remotely, so that no one else can break into it.
