The Coloradoan Rodeo makes its debut in southern Colorado

PUEBLO, Colo. - Residents were in for a treat as The Coloradoan Rodeo made its debut in Pueblo.

The two-day extravaganza kicked off on Friday night featuring rodeo athletes from across the country.

“It’s a good rodeo, it has good horses, and good contestants," said Tyler Turco.

The event drew in families from all across Pueblo, including the Archuletas, who took their three-year-old grandson Braydon to his first rodeo.

"This is his first time, it’s exciting, I’ve been bringing my kids to rodeos for a while," said Mike Archuleta.

If you missed out on the fun, part two of the event will be taking place Saturday at 7 p.m.

The night will end with a concert featuring Grammy award-winning artist Drake White, with opening act The Jeffrey Alan Band.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased at select Big R Stores for $20 or by calling 719-583 0844. Tickets will be available Saturday at the Colorado State Fair Palace of Agriculture for $25.
