Montezuma Bowl now open at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

KEYSTONE, Colo. - Arapahoe Basin Ski Area's Montezuma Bowl is now open.

The Legend's backside terrain opened Saturday, Jan. 13 after Mother Nature dropped 18 inches of snow on the Basin in the past three days.

Officials say the new snow has elevated conditions across the mountain, from the learning areas to the extreme terrain of Pallavicini.

Officials say thanks to the new snow added to the base, people can expect to see more terrain open for the season soon, including the expansion terrain in The Beavers.

Open runs in Montezuma Bowl include groomed intermediate runs Columbine, Larkspur, and Shining Light, as well as advanced tree skiing in the "14ers."
