"BlacKkKlansman," based on true story of Colorado Springs police officer, premieres at Cannes

We're getting our first look at Spike Lee's "BlacKkKlansman," an upcoming film about a black police officer in Colorado Springs who managed to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan.

Adam Driver and Topher Grace lead the cast of the film, which is based on a true story.

It just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where the audience gave it a six-minute standing ovation.

The movie hits theaters August 10.
