Man pleads guilty to throwing 2-year-old cousin onto busy Colorado Springs road

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A man is facing 10 to 16 years in prison after he pled guilty to throwing his 2-year-old cousin into a busy intersection earlier this year, according to prosecutors.

Bryant Hickcox pled guilty Tuesday to second-degree assault. Police said on July 14, Hickcox threw the boy into the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Airport Road. Drivers were able to avoid hitting the boy. 

Hickcox faces between 10 and 16 years in prison when he is sentenced February 6.
