A Fountain man is dead and two families displaced following an early Monday morning fire at Crest Mobile Home Park. Fire investigators said the fire was caused by an electrical outlet overloaded with Christmas lights.

Two existing dispensaries can keep operating, but officials say six others don't comply with existing ordinances. The Dillon Town Council on Tuesday defeated a ban on dispensaries, with some members noting that voters statewide have approved medical marijuana. Dillon already has a moratorium.
